Si, es la verdad! Yes, it is true, I am going to be in a music video starring Puerto Rican music artists, Wisin y Yandel (pictured). Now I did not know who these guys were. Sorry, guys! But I googled them and saw some of their videos on You Tube and I am very impressed.
I went on an audition the other day and did not think that I did that well. However, I made an acting choice and I went with it and stuck with it. And I received a call on Saturday that I got the gig and we shoot on Tuesday! I'm so excited, I have thought seriously of auditioning for music videos but I never have done so. I can't tell you what the audition consisted of because then I would be giving you the whole concept of the video and that I cannot do. Today I received a phone call from the Wardrobe lady and we went over what I need to bring, etc. Now typically music videos do not pay that well. However, the exposure you get can be huge and that is what I am going for at this stage of my career.
I actually went on two auditions that same day, back to back auditions. Gotta love that so I am hoping I get a callback for the other audition as well. We shall see.
I am travelling so much lately and am trying to rest between my travels. Tomorrow is a rest day and I am grateful for that. I am enjoying my new acting class (Scene Study) and I hope to learn and grow as an actor. I'm sure that I will. I had a very exciting week last week in Los Angeles and it is so rewarding now that I am seeing the fruits of my labor.
Well, it feels good to be home. And I have promised myself that tomorrow I will rest. I will! I will!
